To name a few of the national issues, the Federal Trade Commission has attacked non-compete agreements, the National Labor Relations Board has severely restricted whether confidentiality and non-disparagement can be required in severance agreements and similar contracts, and there are new protections for pregnant and nursing employees. At the state level, almost 50 workplace bills are being considered during the Florida Legislative Session set to adjourn on May 5, 2023.
