Key Legal Issues in a Changing Workplace Environment

Insight Session Description 

What is the "new normal" in today's workplace environment? 

The mental health of employees has become a critical issue as employers return employees to the work environment. Employers also continue to face COVID-19 enforcement initiatives by OSHA and CMS, and Florida's Attorney General is investigating complaints regarding vaccine mandates. 

The speakers, William E. Grob and Dee Anna D. Hays, will address employee anxiety and stress regarding the return to the workplace, as well as provide tools to ease that return, and best practices to avoid legal claims. This session will also cover how to recognize mental health issues affecting employees, how to handle requests for accommodation, and how mindfulness tools may benefit employees. Finally, remote work may become permanent in some workplaces, creating further compliance challenges. 

Join us for a full breakfast and an interactive discussion regarding these key legal issues for the changing workplace environment.
