James D. Leiber, DO is the founder and medical director of New ReGeneration Orthopedics of Florida and Regenexx Tampa Bay with locations in Sarasota, Tampa, and St Petersburg as well as Regenexx at Gold Coast Orthopedics in North Miami. RegenTampaBay.com.

He specializes in the emerging field of Interventional Regenerative Orthopedics and was the first Regenexx provider in Florida offering the nation's most advanced and safe stem cell and platelet-derived non-surgical procedures for the treatment of injuries and arthritis. He is recognized as a national expert in this field.

Dr Leiber is a former officer, physician, and educator in the Air Force for 11 years – including personal consulting physician to the vice president and president at the White House (2002-2006). He is triple board-certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, Pain Medicine, Family Medicine, and is a registered musculoskeletal sonographer. He utilizes highly skilled ultrasound and fluoroscopic (live X-ray) procedures in his practice and teaches these skills for all of the course levels at the not-for-profit Interventional Orthopedic Foundation. He is Associate Professor at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lakewood Ranch, FL. Dr Leiber has also completed fellowship training in research, teaching, and curriculum development at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005 and is currently attending the Florida Medical Association Leadership Academy through the University of Florida. He lives in Bradenton, Florida and enjoys traveling, exercise, and spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and Golden Retriever.
