Oscar J. Horton became President of Sun State International in January 2000.  Sun State International is a full service commercial transportation organization with 6 locations in West Central Florida.  The company’s annual gross revenues exceed $150 million dollars ranking one of the largest Minority Owned Businesses in Tampa Bay. With more than 25 years of experience at his previous company - International Truck & Engine Corporation-  Horton has a proven record of managing organizational change and improving business efficiencies.  Oscar serves on the board of directors for The Bank of Tampa, the USF Board of Trustees and is past Chairman of the Board for Academy Prep Center of Tampa; Oscar is a former Board Member for The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Jacksonville Branch and Goodwill Industries-Suncoast.
